Elevating A Generation
We are pleased to confirm the list of categories for the 2025 Luton & Bedfordshire Windrush Community Awards. The public are invited to nominate people who they feel are deserving of one of the coveted awards.
Along with the categories, each nomination must fit the following criteria:
The Windrush settler’s era is from 1948 – 1971
A nominee could either have arrived to the UK, prior or during this era, or was born to Windrush parents during this era.
The closing date for nomination entries is Sunday 5th January 2025
Nominees must be able to display significant community contributions to the following categories:
