We honour the life and legacy of Janet Powell, U.K. first appointed Heritage Associates’ Windrush Elder Ambassador for Bedfordshire, who passed away peacefully on 20th February 2025. She leaves behind a profound impact on her community and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will forever be in our thoughts along with her beloved friends, family and wider community. Janet’s dedication, warmth, and spirit will always be remembered.
